Die Premium-App, die f\u00c3\u00bcr iOS und Android erscheinen wird, hat dabei einen ganz anderen Ansatz als die PC-Spiele der Strategie-Reihe. Sie baut auch nicht auf der Geschichte von SpellForce als PC-Game auf, sondern ist ganz losgel\u00c3\u00b6st davon. In rundenbasierten taktischen K\u00c3\u00a4mpfen muss man sich in einer komplexen Kampagne beweisen. Die Kampagne, die man mit Spellforce: Heroes &amp; Magic f\u00c3\u00bcr 7,99 Euro erwirbt, hat 13 Missionen. Daneben gibt es auch noch ein freies Spiel. Bei diesem findet man sich als Spieler auf zufallsgenerierten Karten wieder, in denen es gegen KI-Gegner geht. Man kann zwischen den Dunkelelfen, den Orks und den Menschen w\u00c3\u00a4hlen. Im Spiel existieren sechs neutrale V\u00c3\u00b6lker, deren Feind oder Freund man sein kann. Als Anf\u00c3\u00bchrer seiner Armee ist der Spieler auf der Suche nach Ressourcen, Sch\u00c3\u00a4tzen und nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich jeder Menge Ruhm. Das Interessante an dem bekannten Spielprinzip ist die Mechanik der rundenbsasierten K\u00c3\u00a4mpfe, bei denen man vorher gut \u00c3\u00bcberlegen und seine Z\u00c3\u00bcge planen muss. Au\u00c3\u0178erdem folgt Spellforce: Heroes &amp; Magic dem Prinzip der Giebelst\u00c3\u00a4dter, keine Free2Play-Games auf den Markt zu bringen. Einmal gekauft, spielt man ganz ohne Mikrotransaktionen, Lootboxen und den ganzen anderen bekannten Prinzipien der Ingame-Monetarisierung.
