Der bisherige Showrunner des Reboots, Carter Covington, r\u00c3\u00a4umt das Feld und macht Platz f\u00c3\u00bcr das Ehepaar Elizabeth Kruger und Craig Shapiro. Die beiden werden die Serie Charmed (2018) wieder mehr in Richtung \u00c3\u00bcbernat\u00c3\u00bcrliche Hexenserie lenken und so dem Original ein bisschen n\u00c3\u00a4her kommen. Im Charmed-Reboot stehen wie in der Originalserie drei Schwestern im Mittelpunkt des Geschehens, die gewisserma\u00c3\u0178en in die Fu\u00c3\u0178stapfen ihrer ber\u00c3\u00bchmten Vorg\u00c3\u00a4nger treten. Angek\u00c3\u00bcndigt war die Neuauflage als feministische Neuinszenierung. Fans und auch die Originaldarstellerinnen waren nicht begeistert und sagten Misserfolg voraus. Eine Vorhersage, die quasi eingetreten ist und die man jetzt mit neuen Showrunnern, die etwas mehr vom Genre verstehen, wieder umkehren will. Charmed geh\u00c3\u00b6rt uns Vieren und unseren unz\u00c3\u00a4hligen Autoren, Crewmitgliedern und \u00c3\u00bcberwiegend den Fans. Ihr werdet sie nicht hereinlegen, nur weil ihr den Namen der Serie besitzt. Und Tsch\u00c3\u00bcss.\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 In der ersten Staffel von Charmed (2018) ging es vor allem um die Darstellung der einzelnen Charaktere und deren Eingebundenheit in Familie und Freundeskreis. Mel und Maggie leben zusammen mit ihrer Mutter in einem kleinen St\u00c3\u00a4dtchen. Eines Nachts stirbt die Mutter Marisol unter mysteri\u00c3\u00b6sen Umst\u00c3\u00a4nden ganz pl\u00c3\u00b6tzlich. Zudem steht dann auch noch die \u00c3\u00a4lteste Schwester Macy vor der T\u00c3\u00bcr. Keiner glaubt an einen Unfall, und sp\u00c3\u00a4ter kl\u00c3\u00a4rt Harry Greenwood die Schwestern \u00c3\u00bcber ihre Kr\u00c3\u00a4fte auf.
