Oktober geht bei Hulu die zweite Staffel der Mystery-Serie Castle Rock an den Start. Aus diesem Anlass spendiert der Streamingdienst nun auch einen neuen Trailer. In diesem sehen wir eine neue Darstellerin in einer Hauptrolle, n\u00c3\u00a4mlich Lizzy Caplan. Sie wird die wohl ber\u00c3\u00bchmteste und ber\u00c3\u00bcchtigste Krankenschwester der Welt, die Annie Wilkes aus dem Roman Misery von Stephen King spielen. Lizzy Caplan folgt auf Kathy Bates, die die Rolle von Annie vorher innehatte. In der zweiten Staffel von Castle Rock wird es um die Origin-Story von Annie gehen, die in die Gesamtgeschichte eingebettet wird. Als Annie in Castle Rock eintrifft, l\u00c3\u00b6st sie eine Fehde zwischen den Bewohnern aus, die Castle Rock in zwei Fraktionen spaltet. In weiteren Rollen werden wir Tim Robbins als Gangsterboss Reginald Mentil sehen, Garrett Hedlund spielt dessen Neffen und Yusra Warsama spielt Dr. Nadia Omar aus Jerusalems Lot. Mit dabei auch Barkhad Abdi als ihr Bruder Abdi und Elsie Fisher als ihre Tochter Joy. Castle Rock ist die erste Anthologie-Serie, die die Welten des Horror-K\u00c3\u00b6nigs Stephen King zusammenf\u00c3\u00bchrt und legend\u00c3\u00a4re Geschichten aus dem King-Universum erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt. Castle Rock ist die fiktive Stadt des Autors, die immer wieder in seinen Romanen und Kurzgeschichten auftaucht. Sie liegt in einem geheimnisvollen Landstrich mit dem Namen Maine. Federf\u00c3\u00bchrend f\u00c3\u00bcr die Ausarbeitung der Geschichten der Serie sind Dusty Thomason und Sam Shaw. \u00c3\u0153brigens ist die Serie bei uns auf dem Amazon Prime-Video-Channel Starzplay zu sehen.
