Das ist ein Fakt, den der Streamingdienst Netflix jetzt best\u00c3\u00a4tigt, denn die Serie Vikings, die eigentlich nun nach der sechsten Staffel ihr Ende findet, wird in einer neuen Serie fortgesetzt, Vikings: Valhalla, so der Name der geplanten Serie, wird 100 Jahre nach Vikings den Faden der Geschichte der Wikinger wieder aufnehmen. Daf\u00c3\u00bcr hat Netflix die Serie Vikings vom History Channel \u00c3\u00bcbernommen und setzt die Saga mit MGM Television und dem Seriensch\u00c3\u00b6pfer Michael Hirst fort. 24 Folgen sollen laut Deadline auf einen Schlag produziert werden. Im Zentrum von Vikings: Valhalla werden weitere ber\u00c3\u00bchmt-ber\u00c3\u00bcchtigte Wikinger stehen. So sind Geschichten um Leif Erikson, William the Conquerer, Freydis und Harald Harada geplant. Diese M\u00c3\u00a4nner und Frauen werden in einem sich stetig wandelnden Europa unterwegs sein und neue Wege aufzeigen. Showrunner von Vikings: Valhalla wird Jeb Stuart, den manche vielleicht schon durch Stirb Langsam und Auf der Flucht kennen. Seriensch\u00c3\u00b6pfer Michael Hirst wird auch in ziemlich gro\u00c3\u0178en Teilen auf seine alte Crew zur\u00c3\u00bcckgreifen k\u00c3\u00b6nnen.
