Grundlage der Adaption ist die koreanische Serie Black, in der der Sensenmann Grimm Reaper sein Unwesen treibt. In der malaysischen Interpretation wird dieser durch Bunian ersetzt. Das ist ein \u00c3\u00bcbernat\u00c3\u00bcrliches Wesen aus einer anderen Dimension in der malaysischen Folklore. Nun muss der verstorbene Offizier Malik als \u00c3\u00bcbernat\u00c3\u00bcrliches Wesen in der Welt der Menschen auf die Suche nach seinem fl\u00c3\u00bcchtigen Partner gehen. Ein bisschen Supernatural ist eben immer irgendwo dabei \u00f0\u0178\u02dc\u2030 Die urspr\u00c3\u00bcngliche Serie ist reine Fantasy aus Korea, die die Geschichte des Sensenmannes erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt. Er ist in der Welt der Sterblichen und verliebt sich in eine frau. Doch diese kann den Tod vorhersehen. Das d\u00c3\u00bcrfte ja dann ein bisschen f\u00c3\u00bcr Schwierigkeiten f\u00c3\u00bcr den Sensenmann sorgen. Zun\u00c3\u00a4chst wurden die ersten sechs Episoden von Black adaptiert und die Story gleich auf acht Folgen gezogen. Jeweils vier Folgen werden am 17. Und 24. Dezember auf Viu zu sehen sein. Verantwortlich f\u00c3\u00bcr die erste Staffel sind die Regisseure Razaisyam Rashid und Kroll Azri. Produziert wurde bei Alpha47 Films aus Kuala Lumpur. In den Hauptrollen sehen wir Kamal Adli, Siti Saleha Mohd Baharum, Nabila Huda Suhaimi, Khir Rahman, Namron, Zoey Rahman, Rashidi Ishak, Zahim Albakri, Pablo Amirul, Riz Amin und Josiah Hogan. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eDiese acht Episoden werden die erste Staffel unserer Version sein. Wenn es eine zweite Staffel gibt, werden wir mit dem Rest der Geschichte zu Ende erz\u00c3\u00a4hlen, die der koreanischen Version \u00c3\u00a4hnelt\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, sagt Produzentin Susan Lankester. Enden wir die erste Staffel \u00c3\u00bcbrigens mit einem sensationellen Cliffhanger, was die Hoffnungen auf Staffel Nummer 2 verst\u00c3\u00a4rken d\u00c3\u00bcrfte.
