Hierzulande kann man gerade die Staffeln 1 bis 3 auf Netflix sehen. Eine vierte Staffel ist gerade auf dem Sender SyFy angelaufen. Nun hat eben jener auch eine n\u00c3\u00a4chste Staffel bestellt. Doch die 13 Folgen der f\u00c3\u00bcnften Season werden leider auch die letzten sein. Damit reiht sich Van Helsing in die Riege der SyFy-F\u00c3\u00bcnf-Staffler ein, denn auch schon die Serien Warehouse 13, Eureka und Z Nation kamen nicht \u00c3\u00bcber f\u00c3\u00bcnf Seasons hinaus. Zu Beginn des neuen Jahres sollen die Dreharbeiten starten. Die Serie basiert auf der Comic-Reihe Helsing aus dem Verlag Zenescope Entertainment. Sie erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt die Geschichte von Vanessa, gespielt von Kelly Overton, die nach drei Jahren aus dem Koma erwacht. Sie ist eine Nachfahrin des Vampirj\u00c3\u00a4gers Abraham Van Helsing und wacht in einer Welt wieder auf, in der es vor Vampiren nur so wimmelt. Doch sie ist immun gegen die Vampire. Ihr Blut besitzt eine au\u00c3\u0178erordentliche F\u00c3\u00a4higkeit. Sie kann die Blutsauger wieder in Menschen verwandeln. Vanessa wird zur letzten Hoffnung der gesamten Menschheit. In der in den USA schon im September angelaufenen vierten Staffel geht es vor allem um die vier Ur-Vampire, die versuchen die legend\u00c3\u00a4ren \u00e2\u20ac\u017eThe Dark One\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 wieder auferleben zu lassen. Vanessas Aufgabe ist nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich, dem Treiben ein Ende zu setzen. Doch auf einmal spielt da eine ganz besondere Vampirin mit \u00e2\u20ac\u201c der weibliche Dracula! Die vierte Staffel von Van Helsing hat 19 Folgen und ist damit etwas l\u00c3\u00a4nger ausgefallen als die Vorherigen.
