Viele Fans hatten laut der Beschreibung damit gerechnet, dass Insatiable nur eines hervorbringen wird: Fat Shaming und die Aussage, dass man unbedingt schlank werden m\u00c3\u00bcsse, um in der Gesellschaft akzeptiert zu werden. Das dachte sich wahrscheinlich auch der US-Sender The CW, der nach dem Piloten keine Serie bestellt hat. Daf\u00c3\u00bcr sprang Netflix dann ein und brachte die Geschichten in Serie. Zum einen muss man nun sagen, dass es absolut nicht das war, was her\u00c3\u00bcberkam und zum anderen war der Stoff so gut, dass Netflix auch eine zweite Staffel in Auftrag gab. Doch nun ist Schluss mit Insatiable. Netflix gibt kein gr\u00c3\u00bcnes Licht f\u00c3\u00bcr Season Nummer 3, sagt aber auch nicht, warum es keine Fortsetzung geben wird. Nach dem Shitstorm, der der ersten Staffel noch hohe Zuschauerzahlen brachte, scheint es so, dass die relativ unbemerkt ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichte zweite Season, nicht die Zahlen brachte, die Netflix sich gew\u00c3\u00bcnscht h\u00c3\u00a4tte. Das zumindest erscheint logisch, wenn nun Schluss sein soll. Im Zentrum von Insatiable steht die Teenagerin Patty Bladell, gespielt von Debbie Ryan. Sie war einst dick und h\u00c3\u00a4sslich, was den Mitsch\u00c3\u00bclern und ihrem n\u00c3\u00a4heren Umfeld immer wieder Stoff f\u00c3\u00bcr Beleidigungen und H\u00c3\u00a4me gab. Patty macht nach einem Kieferbruch eine ungewollte radikale Abmagerungskur und dann wendet sich das Blatt f\u00c3\u00bcr das einstig h\u00c3\u00a4ssliche Entlein. Nun zum anscheinend sch\u00c3\u00b6nen Schwan geworden, ist ihr als h\u00c3\u00bcbsches M\u00c3\u00a4dchen die Anerkennung von Schulkameraden und Freunden sicher. Sie wird sogar als hei\u00c3\u0178e Sch\u00c3\u00b6nheitsk\u00c3\u00b6nigin gehandelt. In Patty aber schwingt ein unstillbarer Rachehunger nach Vergeltung f\u00c3\u00bcr die erlittenen Qualen als sie noch dick war. Ob sie wirklich nur von Rache getrieben ist und wie die Moral der Geschichte wirklich am Ende aussehen sollte, werden die Fans nun nie erfahren, nur vermuten k\u00c3\u00b6nnen.
