M\u00c3\u00a4rz beim Sender ABC TV Geschichten aus einem Fl\u00c3\u00bcchtlingslager mitten in der australischen W\u00c3\u00bcste erz\u00c3\u00a4hlen. Doch die Serie von und mit Cate Blanchett wird auch bald weltweit zu sehen sein, denn der Streamingsdienst Netflix hat sich die internationalen Rechte f\u00c3\u00bcr die Ausstrahlung gesichert. Noch in diesem Jahr soll es losgehen. Wir geben euch sofort Bescheid, wenn wir den Starttermin in Deutschland wissen. Es geht in Stateless um vier Fremde, die in einem Immigrationslager mitten in der australischen W\u00c3\u00bcste leben. Die Gruppe ist eine echt bunte Mischung. Da ist die Flugbegleiterin Sofie Werner, entkommen aus einem Vorstadtkult, ein afghanischer Fl\u00c3\u00bcchtling, ein B\u00c3\u00bcrokrat, der vor den Konsequenzen eines gro\u00c3\u0178en Skandals fl\u00c3\u00bcchtet, in den er verwickelt war, und ein junger Australier, der Vater ist und einem aussichtslosen Job entkommen m\u00c3\u00b6chte. Hinter der Serie steckt Cate Blanchett, die gemeinsam mit Elise McCredie und Belinda Cheyko die B\u00c3\u00bccher schrieb und auch selbst mitspielt. Blanchett fungiert neben Tony Ayres, Elise McCredie, Liz Watts, Andrew Upton, Sally Riley und Andrew Gregory auch als Executive Producer. Produziert wurden die sechs ersten Folgen von Matchbox Pictures und Dirty Films. Die Autorinnen sagen zum Projekt Stateless:\u00e2\u20ac\u017e,Stateless&#8217; war seit vielen Jahren ein Herzensprojekt und wir k\u00c3\u00b6nnten kaum gl\u00c3\u00bccklicher sein, eine internationale Zuschauerschaft durch Netflix zu erreichen. Die Themen aus der Serie haben eine Allgemeing\u00c3\u00bcltigkeit, \u00c3\u00bcber sie wird jedoch h\u00c3\u00a4ufig der Deckmantel des Schweigens geh\u00c3\u00bcllt oder sie werden durch Angst und Fehlinformation verschleiert.
