Eines Tages besucht sie an einem Wochenende ihre Familie in Maryland, genauer gesagt in Chesapeake Shores. Es geht darum, die Zwangsvollstreckung der kleinen Pension Inn at Eagle Point zu retten, wie ihr ihre Schwester am Telefon sagte. Abby f\u00c3\u00a4hrt also in ihre alte Heimat und denkt, sie kehrt schnell wieder nach New York zur\u00c3\u00bcck, doch alles kommt ganz anders\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6. Vier Staffeln erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt die Serie Chesapeake Shores schon die Geschichte der Familie O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Brien, und nun kommt auch noch eine f\u00c3\u00bcnfte hinzu, wie ein Autor der Serie auf Twitter verk\u00c3\u00bcndete. Abby O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Briens Geschichte ist also noch lange nicht fertig erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt. Die Fans der romantischen Serie freuen sich auf neue Geschichten und wollen nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich unbedingt wissen, wie es mit Abby, ihrer alten Jugendliebe und nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich ihrer Mutter weitergeht. Die Turbulenzen werden sicherlich nicht weniger, denn zur Liebe und Familie geh\u00c3\u00b6rt immer auch ein bisschen Trag\u00c3\u00b6die und jede menge Probleme dazu. Die Serie stammt von Nancey Silvers, die auch als Autorin fungiert und nun sicher schon wieder die Feder schwingt. Executive Producer sind Nancey Silvers, Dan Paulson und John Tinker. <b>Die Hauptcharaktere in Chesapeake Shores<\/b> Abby O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Brien, unsere Protagonistin, wird von Meghan Ory gespielt. Sie ist eine erfolgreiche Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsfrau mit zwei T\u00c3\u00b6chtern, die ihr Leben ganz alleine stemmt. Doch gestresst vom Alltag in New York, und angezogen von ihrer Jugendliebe bleibt sie in ihrer alten Heimat, zumindest vorerst, wie sie meint. Die alte Jugendliebe ist Trace Riley, gespielt von Jesse Metcalfe, der Musiker ist und aus Nashville in seine alte Heimat zur\u00c3\u00bcckkehrte. Mike O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Brien (Treat Williams) ist der Vater der Familie, dessen frau ihn vor Jahren verlassen hat.
