Ein erster Teaser, den Jenkins auf Twitter mit den Worten aus der amerikanischen Verfassung \u00e2\u20ac\u017eWe, the People\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichte, zeigt, wie das Ganze dann aussehen wird. Von der Handlung bekommt man im Teaser noch nicht viel mit, aber er macht so richtig Lust auf die Serie The Underground Railroad. Die Kamera schwenkt in einem Bahnhof \u00c3\u00bcber ein Meer wundersch\u00c3\u00b6ner Schwarzer, die mit W\u00c3\u00bcrde, stiller Leidenschaft und einem Hauch von Wut in die Kamera starren. Nach einer Filmmusik von Nicholas Britell reisen wir durch die Menge und enden auf einer Gruppe von Frauen in Bahnhofsuniformen. In einem Voiceover h\u00c3\u00b6ren wir &#8220;Wer hat das alles gebaut? Jemand anderes antwortet: &#8220;Nun, wer baut irgendetwas in diesem Land? Es ist gerade genug, um die Sinne zu fesseln. Die Geschichte, die auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Colson Whitehead basiert, erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt von der Reise der jungen Cora, die im Vorgebirge des S\u00c3\u00bcdens nach Freiheit sucht.
