Wann die Dreharbeiten in Vancouver dann wiederbeginnen und die wann die Fans mit den neuen Folgen rechnen k\u00c3\u00b6nnen, ist leider noch nicht bekannt. In der Serie Baby-Sitters Club sind wir an der Seite einer Gruppe von Teenager-M\u00c3\u00a4dchen. Im fiktiven \u00c3\u2013rtchen Stoneybrook, in Conneticut, leben die etwa 12-j\u00c3\u00a4hrigen M\u00c3\u00a4dchen Kristy Thomas (Sophie Grace), Mary Anne Spier (Malia Baker), Claudia Kishi (Momona Tamada), Stacey McGill (Shay Rudolph), Dawn Schafer (Xochitl Gomez), Jessie Ramsey (Anais Lee) und Mallory Pike (Vivian Watson). Um ihr Taschengeld aufzubessern, bauen sie ein Business als Babysitter auf. Der Baby-Sitters Club bringt aber nicht nur die Probleme, die die M\u00c3\u00a4dchen mit den Kindern, die sie beaufsichtigen haben, auf den Tisch, sondern die Geschichten erz\u00c3\u00a4hlen auch, wie die M\u00c3\u00a4dchen so langsam erwachsen werden. Die Pubert\u00c3\u00a4t ist zwar das gro\u00c3\u0178e Thema, aber auch gesellschaftspolitische Themen wie Rassismus oder partnerschaftliche Herausforderungen wie Scheidungen werden angesprochen, denn auch diese Dinge geh\u00c3\u00b6ren zum Erwachsenwerden eben dazu. Genau, wie von der Romanautorin auch getan, inszeniert Showrunner Rachel Shukert nicht nur die Probleme mit anderen Menschen, sondern auch die Meinungsverschiedenheiten der M\u00c3\u00a4dchen untereinander. Nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich gibt es Streit, das passiert den besten Freundinnen in der Serie The Baby-Sitters Club wie Freundinnen im echten Leben. Das Team um die Producer Michael De Luca, Lucy Kitada, Frank Smith, Naia Cucukov, Ben Forrer und Lucia Aniello wird von der Romanautorin pers\u00c3\u00b6nlich beraten.
