MTG erh\u00c3\u00b6ht seine Anteile damit auf insgesamt 68 Prozent. Der Preis f\u00c3\u00bcr die zus\u00c3\u00a4tzlichen Anteile betr\u00c3\u00a4gt EUR 106 Millionen. Bestandteil dieser Transaktion ist die Gr\u00c3\u00bcndung einer neuen Unternehmensgruppe f\u00c3\u00bcr MTGs gesamtes Gaming-Portfolio, zu dem auch Kongregate z\u00c3\u00a4hlt. Mit diesem Schritt wird die strategische Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der Gruppe und damit die gesamte Gaming-Sparte gest\u00c3\u00a4rkt. MTG hat im Oktober 2016 zun\u00c3\u00a4chst 21 Prozent in das in Hamburg ans\u00c3\u00a4ssige InnoGames investiert. Im Mai 2017 erh\u00c3\u00b6hte MTG die Anteile auf 51 Prozent. Wegen InnoGames anhaltend starker Ergebnisse macht MTG von seinem Zukaufsrecht Gebrauch und erh\u00c3\u00b6ht seine Anteile damit auf 68 Prozent. Mit der Transaktion wurde vereinbart, MTGs bisheriges Zukaufsrecht f\u00c3\u00bcr die \u00c3\u00bcbrigen 32 Prozent der Anteile an InnoGames zu streichen. Die Transaktion beinhaltet au\u00c3\u0178erdem die Gr\u00c3\u00bcndung der Gaming-Gruppe MTG Gaming AB (\u00e2\u20ac\u017eGamingCo\u00e2\u20ac\u0153), zu der InnoGames und Kongregate z\u00c3\u00a4hlen. Die InnoGames-Gr\u00c3\u00bcnder werden ca. 28,15 Prozent der Anteile an GamingCo halten. Geplant sind weitere Zuk\u00c3\u00a4ufe von Gaming-Unternehmen durch die Gaming-Gruppe. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Durch den Launch einer neuen gemeinsamen Gaming-Gruppe mit den Gr\u00c3\u00bcndern von InnoGames profitieren alle Gaming-Unternehmen innerhalb von MTG von InnoGames herausragender Expertise in den Bereichen User Acquisition, Live Operations und Business Intelligence. Das ist ein wichtiger Schritt hin zu operativen Verbesserungen f\u00c3\u00bcr unser gesamtes Gaming-Portfolio\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, sagt MTGs CEO und Group President Maria Redin. Deutschlands f\u00c3\u00bchrender Entwickler und Publisher von Online- und Mobile-Games InnoGames ist f\u00c3\u00bcr Hits wie Forge of Empires, Die St\u00c3\u00a4mme und Elvenar bekannt. InnoGames fokussiert sich auf hochwertige Free-to-Play-Games in den Genres Strategie und City Builder. Seit der Unternehmensgr\u00c3\u00bcndung im Jahr 2007 ist das Unternehmen in 13 aufeinanderfolgenden Jahren prozentual zweistellig gewachsen.
