Auch ein geplantes Spin-off der Serie mit Supermans Gro\u00c3\u0178vater, bei dem der Kopfgeldj\u00c3\u00a4ger Lobo im Mittelpunkt stehen sollte, kam nie zustande. So werden sich die Fans mit den beiden ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichten Staffeln zufriedengeben m\u00c3\u00bcssen. <b>Darum geht es in der Serie Krypton<\/b> Die Serie spielt 200 Jahre vor der Geburt von Superman aka Kal-El und der Zerst\u00c3\u00b6rung des Planeten Krypton. Der Gro\u00c3\u0178vater von Superman Seg-El, gespielt von Cameron Cuffe, ist in einem Kampf um die Zukunft seines Planeten. Eine au\u00c3\u0178erirdische Bedrohung steht ins Haus und eine religi\u00c3\u00b6se Diktatur. Aber der Kampf ist nicht so einfach, denn das House of El wurde versto\u00c3\u0178en. Es geht also auch um die Wiederherstellung der Familienehre, um das Beilegen von alten Konflikten und letztendlich um das Gleichgewicht und Zusammenleben auf dem Planeten Krypton. Mit an Bord der Familiengeschichte, die David S. Goyer entwickelt nach einer Comic-Vorlage entwickelt hat, ist auch Lyra Zod, dem sp\u00c3\u00a4teren Widersacher von Superman General Zod. Zwischen Seg-AL und Lyra entsteht eine Liebesgeschichte, die an Romeo und Julia erinnert, denn die beiden d\u00c3\u00bcrften gar nicht zusammen sein. Nachdem in der ersten Staffel auch viele Zeitreisen Thema waren, geht es in der zweiten Season in den hei\u00c3\u0178en Kampf um Krypton. Seg-El sammelt eine Gruppe von Rebellen zusammen, um den Tyrannen Dru-Zod zu st\u00c3\u00bcrzen. Aber in der Rebellengruppe gibt es Zwietracht.
