Die Nachkommen m\u00c3\u00bcssen ran und sich um die Sicherheit der Menschen k\u00c3\u00bcmmern. Doch es ist gar nicht so einfach, aus dem Schatten der alten Superhelden zu treten und sein eigenes Ding zu machen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen The Utopian aka Sheldon Sampson, der der St\u00c3\u00a4rkste unter den neuen, jungen Superhelden ist. Grace Sampson ist seine Ehefrau und als Lady Liberty unterwegs. Walter Sampson aka Brainwave ist der \u00c3\u00a4ltere Bruder von Sheldon und ganz anders als sein Bruder will er die Menschheit f\u00c3\u00bchren und nicht besch\u00c3\u00bctzen. Dann gibt es noch Chloe Sampson, die Tochter von Grace und Sheldon, Brandon, den Sohn, George Hutchene, der als Skyfox bekannt ist und sich von dem Team wegen eines Streits getrennt hat. Auch Fitz Small aka Flare k\u00c3\u00b6nnte f\u00c3\u00bcr Stimmung sorgen, denn im Comic hat er f\u00c3\u00bcr einige Unruhe in der Gruppe gesorgt. W\u00c3\u00a4hrend die neue Generation die F\u00c3\u00a4den in der Hand hat, k\u00c3\u00a4mpfen sie nicht nur mit Meinungsverschiedenheiten unter sich, sondern auch mit den Auffassungen ihrer Kinder. Die Sampsons-Kinder sind n\u00c3\u00a4mlich ganz und gar nicht begeistert, dass auch sie so langsam an das Superheldendasein herangef\u00c3\u00bchrt werden sollen.
