Dann d\u00c3\u00bcrfte Katla Staffel 2 in sp\u00c3\u00a4testens einem Jahr auf Netflix zu sehen sein. <b>Davin handelt die Serie Katla<\/b> Der Vulkan Katla ist einer der aktivsten auf Island. Im S\u00c3\u00bcden des Landes liegt er, in einer Region tief unter dem Gletscherschild des Landes. In der Serie bricht genau dieser Vulkan aus. Das Eis rundherum ist geschmolzen, der Ausbruch richtete eine verheerende Verw\u00c3\u00bcstung an. Das kleine St\u00c3\u00a4dtchen Vik \u00c3\u00ad M\u00c3\u00bdrdal ist quasi begraben und wurde zur Gefahrenzone erkl\u00c3\u00a4rt. Dennoch leben hier noch einige wenige Menschen. Auch nach einem Jahr hat sich der Vulkan Katla noch nicht beruhigt und es gibt immer wieder kleinere Ausbr\u00c3\u00bcche. Nun aber kommt noch eine weitere r\u00c3\u00a4tselhafte Gefahr auf die Bewohner der postapokalyptisch anmutenden Region hinzu. Mysteri\u00c3\u00b6se Wesen, die lange Zeit unter dem ewigen Eis begraben waren, erreichen die Oberfl\u00c3\u00a4che. Die Menschen auf Island sind bedroht, doch wie kann man gegen diese Kreaturen vorgehen? Katla wird von Regisseur Baltasar Korm\u00c3\u00a1kur umgesetzt, der stolz auf den Cast und nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich auch alle anderen Mitglieder des Teams rund um die Serie, die hoffentlich keine Miniserie bleiben wird: \u00e2\u20ac\u017eNach ausgiebigen Castingsitzungen haben wir eine erstaunliche Ensemblebesetzung zusammengestellt, die aus einigen der besten und erfahrensten Schauspieler Islands sowie brillanten jungen Nachwuchstalenten besteht. Die Serie ist ein Krimi, in dem ein erfahrener Polizist auf Wunsch seiner Frau in einen abgelegenen Ort an der K\u00c3\u00bcste Islands zieht. Er will hier einen Neuanfang wagen, und schon wird an der F\u00c3\u00a4hre zu D\u00c3\u00a4nemark eine Leiche gefunden. Vor kurzem erst wurde die zweite Staffel fertiggestellt und ist ebenfalls in der ZDF-Mediathek zu sehen.
