Die Kan\u00c3\u00a4le sollen Platz machen f\u00c3\u00bcr die Verbreitung und den Ausbau des hauseigenen Streamingdienstes Disney+. Jetzt geht es auch in Deutschland los: der FOX-Channel und Disney Junior gehen zum 30. September 2021 vom Netz. Viele neue Folgen und Serien feierten bisher auf dem deutschen FOX-Channel im linearen Pay-TV Premiere. Man denke nur an The Walking Dead, American Horror Story oder The Good Fight. Diese Zeiten sind bald vorbei, denn der Grund f\u00c3\u00bcr die Schlie\u00c3\u0178ung der Kan\u00c3\u00a4le ist ganz einfach. Mehr Fokus auf das Streamingangebot von Disney+ als die Verteilung des Portfolios auf diverse Fernsehkan\u00c3\u00a4le. Die Marke Fox soll langfristig aus dem Disney-Konzern entfernt werden. Daf\u00c3\u00bcr gibt es Star als Ersatz bei Disney Plus, wo das besondere Angebot vor allem f\u00c3\u00bcr den europ\u00c3\u00a4ischen Markt gesammelt werden soll. Hier finden sich die Serien und Filme, die nicht so ganz in das familienfreundliche Grundangebot bei Disney+ passen. Aber der FOX-Channel ist nicht der Einzige, der B\u00c3\u00bcndelungsoffensive f\u00c3\u00bcr Disney+ zum Opfer f\u00c3\u00a4llt. Auch der Kanal Disney Junior wird zum Ende des Septembers eingestellt. Damit verschwindet nach Disney Cinemagic und Disney XD der letzte Sender vom deutschen Markt. Das ist vor allem f\u00c3\u00bcr die Anbieter von Pay-TV-Paketen und Drittanbietern wie Sky fatal, deren Angebot nach und nach immer keiner wird. Allerdings soll der lineare Disney Channel in Deutschland noch weiter betrieben werden. Auch National Geographic und National Geographic Wild sollen, zumindest vorerst, noch bestehen bleiben.
