Das ist eine Klasse f\u00c3\u00bcr sich und das Universum w\u00c3\u00a4chst und w\u00c3\u00a4chst. Eine riesige Reihe von Produktionen l\u00c3\u00a4uft gerade, und wenn es nach Produzent Alex Kurtzman geht, soll dies auch noch viele Jahre so weitergehen. Das machte Kurtzman nun auch sicher, denn er bringt mit seiner Produktionsfirma und den CBS-Studios einen Mega-Vertrag f\u00c3\u00bcr sich und seine Mitarbeitenden f\u00c3\u00bcr die n\u00c3\u00a4chsten f\u00c3\u00bcnf Jahre unter Dach und Fach. Der Vertrag sichert damit die weitere Produktion von schon bestehenden Serien wie Star Trek:Discovery, die eine vierte Season bekommt, und auch Star Trek:Picard, die um f\u00c3\u00bcr eine zweite Staffel verl\u00c3\u00a4ngert wurde. Auch die Animationsserie Star Trek: Lower Decks, die im August bei Amazon Prime Video mit der zweiten Staffel an den Start geht, ist ein Erfolg. Aber dar\u00c3\u00bcberhinaus sind noch weitere Ableger in Planung. So soll es zum Beispiel eine Kindersendung geben, die Star Trek_Prodigy hei\u00c3\u0178en soll sowie zwei weitere Spin-ofs mit den Titeln Star Trek: Strange New Worlds und Star Trek: Section 31. Ger\u00c3\u00bcchte besagen, dass Alex Kurtzman mit seiner Produktionsfirma Secret Hideout satte 150 Millionen US-Dollar von den CBS-Studios bekommen hat, um weiteres Material f\u00c3\u00bcr das Star-Trek-Universum zu entwickeln. Au\u00c3\u0178erdem sollen neben den schon bekannten neuen Projekten noch weitere hinzukommen. Die Content-Chefin der CBS soll die Inhalte, die Secret Hideout auf den Weg bringt, \u00c3\u00bcberwachen. Der Deal kommt nicht sonderlich \u00c3\u00bcberraschend, ist Star Trek doch eines der Zugpferde der CBS und von Paramount Pictures. Mit der Weiterf\u00c3\u00bchrung bestehender und der Entwicklung neuer Formate soll unter anderem auch die Etablierung des Streamingdienstes Paramount+ vorangetrieben werden.
