Daf\u00c3\u00bcr garantiert schon die Star-Besetzung mit Robert Eggers im Regiesessel f\u00c3\u00bcr den Film The Northman. Ein Trailer, der soeben erschienen ist, zeigt, dass The Northman eine epische Wikingersaga wird, die alle bisherigen Staffeln von The Vikings weit hinter sich l\u00c3\u00a4sst. Im April soll der Wikingerfilm dann in die Kinos kommen und auf der gro\u00c3\u0178en Leinwand beeindrucken. Heute gibt es allerdings erst einmal nur den Trailer f\u00c3\u00bcr euch, nach ein paar Informationen zur Handlung des Machwerks. Robert Eggers, der sp\u00c3\u00a4testens seit The Witch und Der Leuchtturm f\u00c3\u00bcr m\u00c3\u00a4chtig Furore in Sachen Albtraum-Welten gesorgt hat, entf\u00c3\u00bchrt die Zuschauenden ins 10. Jahrhundert. Amleth ist ein junger Wikingerprinz, der mit ansehen muss, wie sein eigener Onkel Fjolnir seinen Vater Aurvandil, den K\u00c3\u00b6nig, ermordet. Nun ist Amleth erwachsen und reif genug, um seinen Vater zu r\u00c3\u00a4chen. Auf seinem Rachefeldzug will er auch gleich die K\u00c3\u00b6nigin, seine Mutter Gudrun, retten. Auf seiner Reise trifft Amleth auf so manche zwielichtigen Gestalten und begibt sich in bizarre und garstige Landschaften. Wer jetzt denkt, dass ihm die Geschichte ein wenig bekannt vorkommt, hat in der Schule wahrscheinlich Hamlet gelesen. Das ber\u00c3\u00bchmte St\u00c3\u00bcck von Shakespeare beruht auf der Sage von Amleth. Man darf sich im Fr\u00c3\u00bchjahr auch auf eine theatralisch-filmische Dramaturgie und Filmkulisse freuen, wie der Trailer schon zeigt. Regisseur Eggers hat auch einen beachtenswerten Cast f\u00c3\u00bcr The Northman zusammengetrommelt. Mit an Bord sind Alexander Skarsg\u00c3\u00a5rd in der Rolle des Amleth, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Bill Skarsg\u00c3\u00a5rd, Claes Bang, die S\u00c3\u00a4ngerin Bj\u00c3\u00b6rk, Murray McArthur, Ian Gerard Whyte, Kate Dickie und Ralph Ineson.
