Bald naht der Fr\u00c3\u00bchling, aber noch ist Winter. Damit die Menschen sich nicht nur in Gedanken schon an Sommer, Hitze und Sonne erinnern brauchen, hat RTL+ eine neue Serie im Gep\u00c3\u00a4ck, die die tristen Wintertage aufhellen soll. K\u00c3\u00b6nig von Palma hei\u00c3\u0178t das gute St\u00c3\u00bcck und wird am 24. Februar beim Streamingdienst RTL+ an den Start gehen. Auch im linearen Fernsehen soll die Sommer-Sonne-Gute-Laune-Serie noch zu sehen sein, hier gibt es aber noch keinen offiziellen Starttermin. Ein Trailer bereitet die Zuschauer nun auf die erste Staffel der Serie K\u00c3\u00b6nig von Palma vor. In K\u00c3\u00b6nig von Palam geht es um Matthias, genannt Matti, Adler, gespielt von Henning Baum. Er geht Anfang der 1990er Jahre mit seiner Frau Sylvie und ihren gemeinsamen Kindern nach Mallorca. Die Auswandererfamilie er\u00c3\u00b6ffnet hier einen kleinen Biergarten direkt an der Playa de Palma. Keine schlechte Idee, denn nach der Wiedervereinigung der beiden deutschen Staaten boomt Mallorca noch mehr als sonst. Das Strandparadies wird bald schon das sechzehnte Bundesland genannt. Die kleine Strandbar entwickelt sich bald zu einer echten Party-Location und ist gerammelt voll. Aber dann zeigen sich doch noch die Schattenseiten des Daseins auf der Sonneninsel. Der Konkurrenzkampf w\u00c3\u00a4chst, mehr und mehr wollen an den Touristen verdienen und die Bandagen werden h\u00c3\u00a4rter. Bestechung, Erpressung, Gewalt sind an der Tagesordnung. Werden die Adlers das schaffen? Und dann kommt zur beruflichen Herausforderung auch noch die private hinzu.
