Via Satellitendienst SES, Amazon Web Services und Intelsat strahlte die Serie Night Sky neben dem normalen Zugang \u00c3\u00bcber Amazon Prime Video in die Weiten des Weltalls. Die erste Staffel der Sci-Fi-Serie kam gut an und ende mit einem Cliffhanger. Doch jetzt kommt der Schock f\u00c3\u00bcr die Fans auf der menschlichen wie auf der Alien-Seite: Amazon Prime Video verk\u00c3\u00bcndet das Aus der Serie Night Sky nach der ersten Staffel \u00e2\u20ac\u201c trotz positiver Kritiken und wohlgesonnener Zuschauer. Die Serie Night Sky wurde einst als Lightyears entwickelt. Die Geschichte dreht sich um Irene York, gespielt von Sissi Spacek, und ihren Mann Franklin (J.K.Simmons). Die beiden haben in ihrem Garten eine tief vergrabene Kammer entdeckt, die ein Portal zu einem anderen Planeten f\u00c3\u00bchrt. Dieser Planet ist merkw\u00c3\u00bcrdig und verlassen, meinen sie. Sie h\u00c3\u00bcten dieses Geheimnis viele Jahre, doch dann taucht pl\u00c3\u00b6tzlich ein junger Mann auf und stellt das Leben des Ehepaars auf den Kopf. Hinter der Kammer und dem Zugang zum verlassenen Planeten steckt n\u00c3\u00a4mlich viel mehr als die beiden dachten. Schade, dass die Serie Night Sky nun schon nach der ersten Season endet, denn wir h\u00c3\u00a4tten gern noch mehr davon gesehen.
