Aber eine ist dabei, die jetzt mit dem zweiten offiziellen Trailer zur Pilotstafel so richtig neugierig macht. Peripherie hei\u00c3\u0178t die Serie, starbesetzt ist sie und sie f\u00c3\u00bchrt die Zuschauer in ein futuristisches London. Worum es geht, wollen wir euch kurz erz\u00c3\u00a4hlen. Der Trailer dann stimmt euch auf die am 21. Oktober auf Amazon Prime Video startende Serie ein. Chloe Grace Moretz, die ihr sicherlich durch Formate wie The Equalizer oder Bad neighbors 2 schon kennt, spielt in Peripherie die junge Flynne Fisher. Sie lebt im S\u00c3\u00bcden der USA, wo es sch\u00c3\u00b6n l\u00c3\u00a4ndlich und idyllisch ist. In einer kleinen 3D-Druckerei arbeitet Flynne braucht aber einen zus\u00c3\u00a4tzlichen Job, weil das Geld sonst nicht reicht. Flynne testet VR-Spiele, die f\u00c3\u00bcr reiche Leute vorgesehen sind. Als sie eines Nachts wieder ihre VR-Brille aufsetzt, um eine weiteres gro\u00c3\u0178es Game zu testen, findet sie sich auf einmal in einem futuristischen London wieder. Ok, ihr habt Recht, das ist der Sinn von VR-Spielen, dass man sich in eine neue, andere, extrem realistische Welt katapultiert. Aber das hier ist anders, das merkt Flynne. Das futuristische London und die gegenwart sind auf irgendeine Art miteinander verbunden. Das Game scheint das Portal zu sein. Doch wer steckt dahinter? Flynne will mehr wissen, doch ihre Reisen in die andere Zeitebene bringt nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich die Gegenwart durcheinander, droht sogar, sie zu zerst\u00c3\u00b6ren\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 <iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/J02OmTRNvVc\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe> Die Serie Peripherie basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von William Gibson, der es als Buch zum Bestseller brachte. Showrunner Scott B. Smith setzte den Stoff gemeinsam mit den Executive Producern Jonathan Nolan und Lisa Joy sowie Athena Wickham als Serie um. Am 21. Oktober startet die erste Staffel, die acht Episoden umfasst.
