Auch, wenn Netflix gerade der Serie 1899 von den Dark-Machern nach nur einer, und ziemlich erfolgreichen Staffel, den Gnadensto\u00c3\u0178 verpasst hat (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lightsteelblue-llama-768814.hostingersite.comn\/n\/16899-schock-fuer-die-fans-keine-zweite-staffel-fuer-die-serie-1899\" target=\"_blank\">Newsslash berichtete<\/a>), brauchen die Vikings-Zuschauer solches nicht bef\u00c3\u00bcrchten. Der Streamingdienst hatte von Anfang an 24 Folgen des Spin-offs bestellt. Da mit der ersten und zweiten Staffel erst 16 gezeigt wurden, darf man erwarten, dass Vikings: Valhalla Staffel 3 sp\u00c3\u00a4testens im n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Jahr auf Netflix kommt. Wahrscheinlich ist, dass die dritte Staffel dann die letzte sein wird, aber man wei\u00c3\u0178 ja nie. Und die Arbeiten zur dritten Staffel sind auch schon im Gange, wie Showrunner Jed Stuart in einem Interview mit der Entertainment Weekly best\u00c3\u00a4tigt: &#8220;Wir haben verschiedene gro\u00c3\u0178artige Charaktere, sowie Geschichten, die in unterschiedlichen L\u00c3\u00a4ndern spielen. In so einem Fall muss man wirklich f\u00c3\u00a4hig sein, \u00c3\u00bcber den Horizont hinaus zu blicken, denn als ich die Serie entwickelte, hatte ich bereits mehrere Staffeln geplant. Man muss den Figuren eine richtige Entwicklung zugestehen, was nur bei einer l\u00c3\u00a4ngeren Laufzeit funktioniert.&#8221; <b>Darum geht es in Vikings: Valhalla<\/b> Vikings: Valhalla ist ein Spin-off der Serie Vikings, die im Jahr 2020 endete. Die Handlung setzt 100 Jahre nach den Ereignissen der Mutterserie ein. Die Episoden erz\u00c3\u00a4hlen die Geschichte des wohl ber\u00c3\u00bchmtesten Wikingers Leif Erikson. An seiner Seite weitere ber\u00c3\u00bchmte Namen wie Freydis Eriksdottir und Harald Sigurdsson. Leif Erikson ist die Hauptperson in der neuen Generation von Wikingern, die im 11. Jahrhundert um ihr Land und ihre Unabh\u00c3\u00a4ngigkeit k\u00c3\u00a4mpften. Nachdem die Engl\u00c3\u00a4nder die Wikinger vertrieben haben, sind es nun die germanischen St\u00c3\u00a4mme, die in England einfallen. Wie sich der neue Konflikt auf die Wikinger auswirkt, und was sie damit zu tun haben, zeigt die Serie Vikings: Valhalla. Am Ende der zweiten Staffel ist die Wikinger-Hochburg Kattegat gefallen. Die Hauptfiguren sind auf der Flucht nach Skandinavien, denn auf Erik und Freydis sind Kopfgelder ausgesetzt. Die Wege der drei Hauptpersonen trenne sich, denn Leif und Harald sind in die Kiewer Rus unterwegs, w\u00c3\u00a4hrend Freydis und Erik weit in den Norden fliehen. Harald und Leif treffen auf den Onkel von Harald, \u00c3\u00b6nig Yaroslav, und Olaf. Die beiden bekommen DEN Auftrag f\u00c3\u00bcr eine gef\u00c3\u00a4hrliche Mission in Konstantinopel.
