Dr. Who im britischen Science-Fiction-Kult, was damit zusammenh\u00c3\u00a4ngt, dass es schon vor dem Revival in den 2000er Jahren mehrere Time Lords gegeben hat. Immerhin hat Dr. Who ja schon 60 Jahre auf dem Buckel. Nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich geht es wieder um den m\u00c3\u00a4chtigen Time Lord, der durch Zeit und Raum reist. Damit sollte Dr. Who Staffel 15 im Fr\u00c3\u00bchjahr 2025 bei Disney+ an den Start gehen. {b[]Darum geht es in Dr. Who[\/b] Der Titel Dr. Who l\u00c3\u00a4sst so manchen Nicht-Sci-Fi-Erfahrenen an eine romantische Arztserie denken, Aber darum geht es in der wohl am l\u00c3\u00a4ngsten laufenden Science-Fiction-Serie aller Zeiten nun mal gar nicht. Dr. Who ist ein Time Lord, jemand, der durch Raum und Zeit reisen kann. Das gelingt ihm mit der TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), einer Zeitmaschine, die als Polizei-Notrufzelle getarnt ist. Das erste Mal ging Dr. Who im Jahr 1963 auf Sendung. Bis 1989 wurden 26 Staffeln von der BBC produziert. Im Jahr 2005 kam das Revival des Time Lords. Mit der 14. Staffel bricht bei der Neuauflage nun auch die zweite H\u00c3\u00a4lfte an. Ncuti Gatwa spielt nun den 15. Dr. Who. Der erste war William Hartnell, dem viele bekannte Gesichter folgten. David Tennant war einer der beliebtesten Time Lords und hatte die gro\u00c3\u0178e Ehre im letzten Jahr, dem Jahr des 60. Jubil\u00c3\u00a4ums in drei Sonderfolgen zu spielen, in denen auch der neue Dr. Who eingef\u00c3\u00bchrt wurde. Ach, im \u00c3\u0153brigen muss Dr. Who auch nicht unbedingt ein Mann sein. In der 13. Reinkarnation war der Time Lord eine Frau, gespielt von Jodie Whittaker. Achja, was macht der Time Lord so? Nun ja, auf seinen Reisen hat The Doctor immer neue Begleiter dabei. Allein w\u00c3\u00a4re es ja auch langweilig. Doch die Reisen sind kein Urlaub. Dr. Who erwarten immer wieder Abenteuer und besondere Ereignisse, die die Folgen und Geschichten spannend machen. Der Time Lord kann sogar sterben, regeneriert sich aber innerhalb kurzer Zeit wieder. Ist seine oder ihre Zeit dann wirklich vorbei, kommt die Inkarnation des Doctors. Eigentlich haben Time Lords nur einen Zyklus von 13 Reinkarnationen zur Verf\u00c3\u00bcgung, aber durch einen gl\u00c3\u00bccklichen Zufall in Form eines Risses hat unser Dr. Who einen zweiten Zyklus gew\u00c3\u00a4hrt bekommen. Und dieser soll, geht es nach den Sch\u00c3\u00b6pfern und Fans, auch vollst\u00c3\u00a4ndig ausgelebt werden.
