Da gibt es die negativ gestimmten Kritiker, die meinen, dass The Acolyte von Anfang an keine Chance hat, weil die Geschichte weit vor Episode 1 spielt und bei den Fans nicht besonders beleibt sein wird. Woher auch immer die das wissen wollen, wenn noch kein Fan alles gesehen hat. Und dann gibt es Seriensch\u00c3\u00b6pfer und Showrunner Leslye Headland, die in einem Interview schon verraten hat, dass sie drei Staffeln der Serie The Acolyte plant: \u00e2\u20ac\u017eMindestens drei. Mindestens. Ich meine, ich w\u00c3\u00bcrde das am liebsten f\u00c3\u00bcr immer machen. [\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6] Das ist mein Traumjob. Ich sage drei [Staffeln], weil ich hoffe, dass sie mir das erlauben, aber wenn ich mit den Fingern schnippen k\u00c3\u00b6nnte, dann w\u00c3\u00a4re das mein Job, bis ich in Rente gehe. Ich kann mir eigentlich keinen besseren kreativen oder beruflichen H\u00c3\u00b6hepunkt vorstellen als die Arbeit an \u00e2\u20ac\u0161Star Wars\u00e2\u20ac\u02dc.\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, sagt Headland. Und ganz so unrecht hat sie nicht, denn da die Geschichte 100 Jahre vor Episode 1 spielt und bisher nur in Comics verarbeitet wurde, ist viel Platz zur Entfaltung einer Menge von Geschichten im Zeitalter der Hohen Republik. Und dann gibt es noch die Zuschauer, die mit ihrem Einschaltverhalten und ihren Bewertungen den Daumen bei Disney nach oben emporschnellen oder nach unten sinken lassen. Da The Acolyte mit seinen acht Episoden erst Mitte Juli komplett ausgestrahlt sein wird, rechnen wir nicht vor August mit einer Entscheidung f\u00c3\u00bcr eine Fortsetzung der Geschichte. Gibt es gr\u00c3\u00bcnes Licht f\u00c3\u00bcr eine weitere Staffel, dann werden sich die Fans aber gedulden m\u00c3\u00bcssen. Immerhin sind seit Drehbeginn der ersten Staffel nun schon 1,5 Jahre vergangen. Mit einem Zeitraum von mindestens einem Jahr d\u00c3\u00bcrfte auch die n\u00c3\u00a4chste Produktion angesetzt sein. Das bedeutet, dass Star Wars: The Acolyte Staffel 2 nicht vor 2025, vielleicht sogar erst 2026, bei Disney+ erscheinen wird. <b>Darum geht es in der Serie The Acolyte<\/b> Die Serie Star Wars: The Acolyte spielt wie oben erw\u00c3\u00a4hnt, 100 Jahre vor Episode 1 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Die dunkle Bedrohung. Der Frieden in der Galaxy wird durch eine Vielzahl von Jedi aufrechterhalten und es ist die Zeit der Hohen Republik. Doch dann kommt es zu einer schrecklichen Mordserie, der der anerkannte Jedi-Meister Sol nachgehen wird. Dabei trifft er auf seine einstige Sch\u00c3\u00bclerin Mae, die aber mittlerweile vom Padawan zur Acolyte geworden ist. Das hei\u00c3\u0178t, sie tendiert zur dunklen Seite der Sith und genau das wird die Ermittlungen zu den Morden, die sie gemeinsam mit Sol f\u00c3\u00bchrt, in eine gef\u00c3\u00a4hrliche Richtung treiben.
