Februar gibt es f\u00c3\u00bcr Netflix-Abonnierende einen Nervenkitzel der besonderen Art. Mit Cassandra kommt eine Haushaltshilfe auf die Monitore, die es so tats\u00c3\u00a4chlich geben k\u00c3\u00b6nnte. In der Serie gleichen Namens allerdings wird die elektronische Haushaltshilfe nicht zum gem\u00c3\u00bctlichen Oma- oder Tantenersatz mit einem Hang zur Sauberkeit, sondern entpuppt sich f\u00c3\u00bcr die Familie sogar als Bedrohung. Cassandra entwickelt ein Eigenleben, hinter dem mehr steckt als das Verselbst\u00c3\u00a4ndigen einer k\u00c3\u00bcnstlichen Intelligenz. Cassandra sagt der Familie, zu der sie Samira, die Mutter geholt hat: \u00e2\u20ac\u017eIch bin die gute Fee, die alles in Schuss h\u00c3\u00a4lt. Ich kann euch jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablesen.\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Sie sagt aber auch zu Samira: \u00e2\u20ac\u017eAber vergiss nicht, ich bin \u00c3\u00bcberall\u00e2\u20ac\u0153. Das klingt nicht nur unheimlich, sondern wird es auch immer mehr f\u00c3\u00bcr Samira, die die Roboterin als Unterst\u00c3\u00bctzerin f\u00c3\u00bcr die ganze Familie angeschafft hat. Doch nach und nach kommt sie dem eigent\u00c3\u00bcmlichen Verhalten von Cassandra auf die Spur. Samira wohnt mit ihrer Familie im \u00c3\u00a4ltesten Smart-Home Deutschlands, welches schon aus den 1960er Jahren stammt. Die Familie, die vorher in dem Haus lebte, kam unter mysteri\u00c3\u00b6sen Umst\u00c3\u00a4nden ums Leben. Samira \u00c3\u00bcbernimmt die Haushaltshilfe in Form eines Roboters, der in den 1970er Jahren entwickelt wurde. So hat Cassandra nicht nur den unb\u00c3\u00a4ndigen Drang, ein gleichwertiges Familienmitglied zu sein, sondern auch ein paar ziemlich altmodische Ansichten, die einfach nicht aus ihrem Kopf herauszukriegen sind. War die Mutter der Familie aus den 1960er Jahren das Vorbild f\u00c3\u00bcr Cassandra? Oder ist die Wahrheit hinter dem Roboter sogar noch schlimmer? Die deutsche Thriller-Serie Cassandra erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt die beunruhigende und hochaktuelle Geschichte der KI auf zwei Zeitebenen. In der Gegenwart sind Samiras Familie und der Kampf der Mutter und Ehefrau gegen die finsteren Absichten von Cassandra. Auf der anderen Zeitebene in den 1960er Jahren wird Cassandras Vergangenheit beleuchtet.
