Produziert wird die Serie vom amerikanischen Sender AMC. Bereits im Vorfeld der Premiere der ersten Staffel wurde auch schon eine Staffel zwei bestellt und wie nun bekannt wurde, wird diese am 10. April 2016 erscheinen. Nach dem die erste Staffel mit 6 Folgen etwas kurz war, wird die zweite Staffel mehr als doppelt so lang ausfallen. Die Fans k\u00c3\u00b6nnen sich auf insgesamt 15 neue Folgen freuen. Jedoch ist die Staffel in mehrere Teile geteilt. Damit erscheinen die ersten 7 Episoden ab April und die restlichen 8 folgen dann im Laufe des Jahres. Welchen genauen zeitlichen Abstand diese letzten acht Folgen haben werden ist allerdings nicht bekannt. Ein genaues Datum, wann Staffel zwei von Fear The Walking Dead in Deutschland ausgestrahlt wird, ist nicht bekannt.
