Laut einem Bericht von Variety k\u00c3\u00b6nnte Netflix nun auch eine eigene Serie rund um The Punisher planen. Zwar hat Netflix bereits bekannt gegeben, dass das Unternehmen an seinen best\u00c3\u00a4tigten f\u00c3\u00bcnf Marvel-Serien festh\u00c3\u00a4lt; gleichzeitig wurde eine The Punisher-Serie aber auch nicht zu 100 Prozent ausgeschlossen. Auf der Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena Kalifornien wurden neben Netflixs Content Chef Ted Sarandos auch die Schauspieler und Produzenten von Daredevil zu einem m\u00c3\u00b6glichen Spin-Off befragt. Auch diese wichen der Frage aus und gaben zu verstehen, dass es die Entscheidung von Marvel sei, ob es jemals eine The Punisher-Serie geben wird. Dies k\u00c3\u00b6nnte eventuell bedeuten, dass Netflix durchaus daran Interesse h\u00c3\u00a4tte eine solche Serie auf den Markt zu bringen. Bei The Punisher handelt es sich um den Kriegsveteranen Frank Castle.
