We all crave a mug of Hot chocolate in winter. But did anybody care about your summer thirst? Why settle for a shot of refreshing mocktail when you can sip on Prime Video’s My Fault: London? To get refreshed and inject the love dose straight in, which leaves you smiling like a fool in love.
What To Swoon Over?
Nick Leister Is Still That Guy: The moment he shows up? Yup, the internet collectively sighs. Protective, soft around her, and somehow more grounded this time, Nick carries the film. Again.
The Chemistry: On God, The Chemistry is off the charts. If you did miss that intense, passionate, toe-curling kind of love story lately. This won’t disappoint you. Both the leads perfectly suit each other. You won’t be able to get them out of your mind. Their Loquacious eye-talks will leave you kicking your feet in the air. Can we take a moment to appreciate Nick’s Dialogue! It’s straight out of Wattpad. It’s something that stays in your head for years and still makes you Tomato red.
The Non-toxic Relationship dynamics: Unlike the original Culpa Mía, this film ditches the messy drama for something healthier. The love between Nick and Noah (and even the other side characters) is more respectful, more grown-up, and honestly, it’s so cute to watch on screen with your cozy pet.
The side characters are a vibe. Jenna is the ultimate girl’s girl — always there for Noah. Lion and Zach bring the laughs, balance the romance, and add charm without stealing the show. The songs? Chef’s kiss. They immaculately address the scenes and support the visuals so well. Match made in heaven!
What Feels Off?
The Climax – While the story goes on smoothly like butter. However, the climax, i.e., Noah’s Father kidnapping her to extract Money, was so Uncalled for !. It would’ve been better if the film had been kept as a Rom-Com; The Climax seemed forced. Ronnie, The Bad guy, was supposed to look and feel like a bad guy, but the film really downplayed him, and he seemed like a stupid 4th-grade Bully on Drugs.
Worth a Watch?
Both the characters have a traumatic past, but it doesn’t show because they’re emotionally strong, and as Noah correctly said, ” It’s the Two Broken Ones that Heal each other.” Overall, unlike the Original, this film is such a sight for sore eyes. No melodrama or over the top acting – No Toxicity – Just Pure Love and Chemistry sparks.
The looks, the smiles, the banter — all tied together in a neat little bow. Every time Nick looks at Noah, you’ll secretly wish he were looking at you. The movie hooks you from the start. Once you dive in, it’s “Your Fault” to get drowned in the ocean of love.
My fault: London, is that last piece of chocolate you want to relish for a good long time? If I could, I’d rewatch it twice every month.
