These films captured the authenticity and true essence of inner-city Los Angeles. Progressive movies and ideology are used to keep a population down and society separated. Going to the movies to get butter popcorn and enjoy a rainy day may give pleasure, but the comedy you will get here is unbeatable.
One of Them Days

The Storyline – It’s a fast-paced comedy that defines unconditional love within a friendship. Keke Palmer is a shining star, and SZA smashes the role as an extroverted, free-spirited woman in a transition in life. The story focuses on two best friends who share an apartment together, struggling to make rent and their endeavors in attempting to make it happen.
The Characters – Keke and SZA do more buddy comedies together. The shenanigans were funny, Katt Williams was good.
The Best Part – It has a variety of lessons to be learned as well. Keke Palmer always comes through with bangers, and SZA should continue to act more. The chemistry between the two is the movie’s strongest asset, and despite the urban setting, the friendship, interactions, and life obstacles were relatable to folks of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds

You’re Cordially Invited

The Storyline – A comedic tension surrounding unresolved family dynamics, which you will find much more realistic and relatable, and therefore funny. In a nutshell, an overbooked wedding venue takes on two separate families with two different personalities in a battle to see who gets the prime spot, as it can only really accommodate One properly.
The Characters – Reese Witherspoon in the mix, and you’re rocking and rolling. Nicholas Stoller did a good job keeping the movie fun and humorous. All of the different actors and actresses together really make this a hit.
The Best Part – This isn’t your typical corny, predictable Netflix fare. Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell deliver a laugh-out-loud, quick-witted comedy that delightfully deviates from the well-worn three-act structure. It’s raunchy, full of surprises.
