The most layered, intellectual TV series in the entire Star Wars franchise. Are you waiting to watch this? Well, it’s worth it. The Original Star Wars Trilogy came out in a decade that is now far, far away. Many of us were really excited when news broke that the Star Wars saga would continue with new movies.Â
A completely refreshing change from the predictable and controversial output of the new Star Wars streaming renaissance. Yes, of course, it’s ‘Star Wars,’ and it’s meant to take place in a fantasy universe.
The Storyline
A backstory that stretches the limits of imagination as far as spin-offs are concerned, laying the groundwork for the movie. Andor, which seemed a bit weird in the first season, maybe had a weak storyline line they come together here, and it almost makes us think that Diego Luna’s in like, no scenes relatively. Part of getting him to come back was writing a light Series where the scenes he partakes in are comically weird and seldom serious. This is as much Andor as the book of Boba Fett was Fett.
The Characters
Luthen Raal, played by Stellan Skarsgaard, gives arguably the best speech in Star Wars history in the later episodes, with a stacked cast, standouts being Genevieve O’Reilly and Diego Luna. The ethereally beautiful Adria Arjona. This is an incredible cast with great sputtering of action scenes and awesome monologues delivered by some of the best cast in the industry.
The Best Part
The Plot is kind of slow, but it’s meant to be that way, with so much detail and character development. This series has an actual purpose for existing and actually drives the history and lore forward. In particular, Andor is the most interesting and exciting and value-adding portrayal of the formation of the Rebel Alliance I have ever seen or read. It plays out like real politics in real time. This show is highly recommended for its cinematography.

Why Should You Watch It?
For beautifully constructed locations, new characters, good acting, interesting cameos, and flashbacks that don’t overwhelm the narrative flow. The story is definitely what takes the cake as the standout best part of the show. It’s the first Star Wars show without major fan service or identity politics, it tells a concise and grounded narrative with fleshed-out and real characters.
