Amazon Prime’s cartoon adaptation of Invincible serves what it says. Created by “Robert Kirkman”, it’s truly based on a comic series. His co-creators are Cory Walker and Rayan Ottley. Invincible offers a fresh take on the superhero and intense action genre with marvelous animation. The first episode premiered on 25th March 2021.
It is seemingly a standard coming-of-age superhero story that quickly evolves into a complex and often brutal exploration of power and responsibility. The series follows the storyline of a Child (teenager), Mark Greyson, whose father, Nolan Greyson” (Omni-Man), is the most powerful superhero on Earth. The series revolves around Mark, who, upon turning 17 years old, developed his powers and made his identity as “Invincible.”
The omniscient one guided him in his journey of being a superhero. Mark knows he will inherit and develop an incredible amount of power. In his origin story, he learns to control his power and immerse himself in the world of superheroes but soon discovers that being a superhero is dangerous and has many consequences.
There is a “Viltrumite Empire.” They see themselves as the rightful rulers of the galaxy and often force other civilizations to join the empire. Nolan is a part of it and the race to conquer the Earth. When it is revealed that Nolan is a threat to Earth, it leads to a brutal fight between a father and a son (Omni-man vs Invincible)

Season 1 [2021]: The shocking and brutal ending to the first season, Mark, along with the other supporting characters, Mark’s personal life, his relationship with Atom Eve and other superheroes, the larger conflict between humans and aliens, and the toxic relationship between Atom Eve and her parents. And have to deal with the uncertainty. Brutal confrontation between Nolan and Mark and exposure of the Virtrumite Empire.
Season 2 [2023-2024]
Mark struggled a lot with the psychological impact of his father’s betrayal throughout his journey. The new roster of the Guardians of the Globe is joined and led by the newly resurrected Immortal, resulting in pretty graphic violence and destruction, and Rudy’s learning to be a human continues through the entire season and is unmarred. It also includes coping with loss and near-death experiences while working as a team.
Season 3 [2025]
Mark is on a mission (heist) with Rex Splodge, and they are disrupted by Multi-Paul, who has a motive to kill Splodge, seeking vengeance for her brother (Dupli-Kate). While Mark and the rift are formed as a consequence of a catastrophic event, Mark questions the morality of Cecil’s decision. Eve tries to control her power and its implications to be a hero. They encounter conflicts between values and duties.
Harsh flashbacks navigate his complicity between his father’s legacy and his own choices. Mark and his team face unexpected challenges with new threats, and heroes suffer losses as Rex sacrifices himself for the team and Eve gets injured. Mark didn’t trust Cecil’s proposal, as he wanted to form a new “Guardian of the Globe.” Hence, reject and confront Angstrom, who previously escaped from a brutal battle.
At the end of Conquests, Eve unlocked new abilities, and Mark was defeated in Conquest. After the battle, he recovered in the hospital. Battle Beast got discovered and joined with the Viltrumites in the war. IMDb Rating:- 8.7/10 (Rated by 268k+ viewers)
Amazon Prime Video has already confirmed its season 4, which is set to premiere in 2026, as it’s currently in production with top-notch quality. Robert Kirkman confirmed that they would reduce the gaps between seasons.
