What Happened

While watching this series, we all know the risks that Tom has taken to protect the Harrigan family from danger. When Harrigans are placed behind bars, Tom must step in solely to solve the issues. Parralley, upon learning about Harrigan’s situation, Kat McAllister, played by Janet McTeer, emerges as a formidable contender against the Harrigan family by offering Tom an opportunity to switch sides.

Meanwhile, Tom’s personal life, driving down the south, was strained by the constant threat of violence and his unresolved guilt over his past actions, rejects this offer. This highlights his loyalty towards his boss. But this was not over here. Tom’s wife was more devastated by the life they were living, and in order to resolve the issue and bring back serenity at home, Tom’s wife, Jan, takes matters into her own hands.

Next Season?

Her piled-up anger results in stabbing her own husband. Though it may be accidental, Tom’s fate remains uncertain now because of his critical condition. However, the creators have assured that the story for the second season will be even more intense with the addition of new characters and reprisals of roles.

Conclusion

We can definitely feel the void in Mobland if Tom doesn’t return for the second season. The creators are expanding the story internationally this time, since earlier episodes were set only in London. Now, both rival gangs might take their dispute beyond the UK, raising the stakes even higher. Fans are hopeful, but the directors are keeping details tightly under wraps to build suspense around the characters. Still, Tom’s fans are praying for his return in the next season, though an official announcement has yet to be made.
