Kevin Bacon ist durch Supernatural so richtig bekannt geworden. Nun bekommt er seinen nächsten großen Auftritt, in einer actionlastigen Horrorcomedy, die ihr nicht verpassen dürft. Die Serie ist eine Produktion von Blumhouse für Amazon und hört auf den schönen Namen The Bondsman. Hinter der Serie, die durch einen sensationellen Mix aus Horror, Comedy und Action begeistern soll, steckt Grainger David. Gemeinsam mit Erik Oleson als Showrunner hat er The Bondsman entwickelt. In den Regiestühlen saßen Thor Freudenthal, Sanaa Hamri, Catriona Mckenzie und Lauren Wolkstein. In The Bondsman spielt der Star einen Kopfgeldjäger, der in seinem Leben nicht immer der Netteste war. Nun, als er stirbt, will ihn der Himmel nicht und seine Seele kommt in die Hölle. Aber auch da wird er nicht in alle Ewigkeit schmoren, sondern wird vom Teufel persönlich wieder auf die Erde geschickt. Mit einem neuen Job? Denkste! Hub Halloran muss wieder als Kopfgeldjäger antreten, aber dieses Mal will Hub alles richtig machen und seine Fehler wiedergutmachen. Unter anderem möchte The Bondsman wieder Kontakt zu seiner Ex-Frau und seinem Sohn herstellen, die er vor den Kopf gestoßen hat. Und dann ist da noch seine zweite große Liebe, die Countrymusik, die er in sein Leben integrieren will. Ob und wie ihm das mit seinem Kopfgeldjäger-Job gelingt? Los geht es am 3.
