This show is exactly what was needed in this industry. Something worth watching, intriguing, and compelling! The actors alone made this show so amazing. Every scene that Kristian Flores (Ventura) is in is just immaculate. That man eats up a crying scene that makes us feel everything! He translates pain and hurt so well.
This makes them relatable and likeable, which is also becoming increasingly rare to see in content these days.
The Horror Storyline
The show follows a group of students who become entangled in a mysterious event that changes the course of their lives, leading them to uncover secrets that tie their school to the supernatural world. What stands out the most is the clever mix of teen drama, mystery, and supernatural elements, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
The Unique Part
The series just kept to the theme of the afterlife and dead vs. living, and was a really fun and interesting concept to watch. Out of all the “who did it?” this one is really good and captivating. The last episode was so good and finished.
The moments were incredible, and the dynamics of characters were great and well thought out, there weren’t characters that felt “fake”; every relationship felt real and had just the right amount of awkwardness. This show will keep you guessing the mystery while enjoying the supernatural side of the ghosts.
The LoopholesÂ
Like how ghosts can take donuts from the teacher’s lounge and eat them, yet Maddie can tear her poster off a locker and not be able to hold onto it. The entire show is just a long, drawn-out mystery where everyone is a suspect, and the plot just consists of 43-minute episodes.
The white male boyfriend & main character girl almost get caught making out in the boys locker room so as a diversion boyfriend removes all his clothes and pretends to shower when the intro black male coach tells him he can be in there after hours. The boyfriend then pretends he’s uncomfortable with the way the coach is watching him naked in the shower.
This is one of those shows where everyone is a suspect in Maddie’s disappearance and we have to wade through all their boring back story to find out it’s not that person. Then onto the next suspect, rinse and repeat.
