Stuart Carolan, an Irish filmmaker, rose to prominence after his crime-drama TV series Love/Hate, which captured significant attention from viewers. Set against the backdrop of Dublin, the story revolved around fictional characters in the criminal underworld. The series ran from 2010 to 2014 for five seasons. Now, in 2025, to captivate fans once again, Carolan has developed a new dark comedy-drama series titled Tall Tales & Murders, featuring an ensemble cast.

In this endeavour, Stuart Carolan is supported by Britain’s famous writer and director, Chris Addison. Throughout his professional career, Addison has explored various fields, including writing, directing, stand-up comedy, and acting. His versatility extends across many forms of entertainment. Although he gained significant recognition for his directorial debut of Armando Iannucci’s Veep, an American political comedy series, which earned him an Emmy nomination for directing 13 episodes, Addison brings his expertise to Tall Tales & Murders, promising to weave the project with his signature wit and creativity.
