With the Oscar-winning Oppenheimer and the re-release of Interstellar, the window for Science and fictional films has grown a lot. These days, viewers equally prefer to indulge in such innovative premieres. In theme, the film “The Lightning Code ” or The Tesla Kid, has just been released. Let’s discuss if it’s a dazzling flicker or another dim attempt.
The Lightning of Enormous Power
The teenage scientist, Miles Fletcher, always dreamed of finishing his mother’s lightning project. His reattempt at the experiment opens the doors to Nikola Tesla’s endangered secret, “The Limitless Energy.” However, this magnificent discovery attracts the wrong side’s attention, i.e., Luxos Energy Co. They go for a deal, miles to improve the solution.
However, as the upgrades are finished, they kick him out & shut him off from the patent rights. To claim his ownership, he goes on a quest with his fearless friends and a robot sidekick to protect the energy source from the wrong hands and save the future. How do they do that? Will they guard the Earth before destruction? See it in cinemas.
Attraction and Energy
The director Kali Bailey’s representation is aligned well with Julian Reid’s complex story. This Sci-fi film is made suitable for all ages, especially the theme of unity, empathy, & science discovery is a treat to see on the big screen. The crucial success comes from its blend of various perspectives to character depth. They strictly abided by the morals of trust, friendship, and determination to save the people.
Further, the limitless energy source without primary support, like Mini-Sun, has already been introduced in films like Knight and Day, so it is familiar and easy for the audience to understand and connect to the vision of a mad scientist and yearning son.

Crafting Characters
The film revolves around Andrew Raid, aka Miles Fletcher. As a young scientist, he did justice to his part. The way the protagonist builds innovation while reminding us that he is just a kid fighting against evil, it works the bang. Also, on-screen characters Kennedy Blake, Catherine Blake, and Piper do help in keeping the thrill and adventure. Also, just like Big Hero-6, they prove that empathy and good morale always diminish the bad ones.
Light, Camera, and VFX
Right from the trailer, it is clear that the movie is interdependent on grand VFX, and this time the lightning effect is made much more realistic and better to visualize on theater screens. They throw light on corporate greed, however, not much in breakthroughs—it’s just resilience and little Mr. Scientist waging war. So yeah, go with low expectations!
Final Verdict
The Lightning Code is a decent attempt at success. It’s a good family binge with kids, as they can learn so many concepts from the film. However, it’s there, like somewhat predictable, and all the second-half magic runs on their unity and perseverance to protect the nation from the potential danger of misuse. Certainly a good experience for a single watch. So, visit your nearest theaters right now and go for it!!!
