Her feelings for the two brothers, Conrod and Jeremiah, are causing melancholy. Now it’s the right time for Belly to choose between Conrod and Jeremiah. The Summer I Turned Pretty series showrunners Jenny Han, Gabrielle Stanton, and Sarah Kucserka crafted a heartfelt story between the leading three characters, Lola Tung as Belly, Conrad as Christopher Briney, and Jeremiah as Gavin Casalegno, and the rest following with the plot.
Cousins Beach
Ever since she was a child, Belly and her family have spent summers with her mother’s best friend, Susannah Fisher, in Cousins Beach; Susannah has two sons: Conrod and Jeremiah, with whom Belly develops a connection. Though Belly has had a crush on Conrad since she was young, her turning sixteen one summer changes the brothers’ perception of her.
First Love
Initially, Belly and Conrod’s relationship drives seamlessly, but due to Conrod’s attitude and reserved character, their relationship experiences a tumble. Thereafter, Belly receives a proposal from Jeremiah that completely changes her perception of love.
Second Chance
But her on-and-off flinging with both brothers continues, and will not lead anywhere. Meanwhile, Susannah Fisher’s cancer causes emotional turmoil in the family, devastating Conrod and Jeremiah. Hence, both brothers must conclude whether their bond as brothers is worth more than their rivalry over Belly, while resolving the obstacles in the property matter.

Breakup
The trio decides to bring the love triangle to an end in hopes of finding peace. During a heartfelt conversation, Conrad expresses his true feelings for Belly and asks if she feels the same. However, Belly ultimately chooses Jeremiah over Conrad, leaving him heartbroken.
This coming-of-age Amazon Prime series, “The Summer I Turned Pretty”, season two ended with Belly and Jeremiah entering a new phase in their relationship. However, the recently released trailer for season three quickly drew global attention for additional crew joining the set and reprisal of a few roles, and the aftermath of Conrod and Belly’s breakup–this has set the bar high. Though this series drew inspiration from Jenny Han’s novel of the same name, it was modified to add a special touch and flair. However, to find out more about Belly’s love life with Jeremiah, people must wait till July 16, 2025.
