Bollywood, India’s glitzy film industry, has long been dominated by dynasties and star families. The term “nepo baby” refers to children of established actors, directors, or producers who enter the industry with a significant advantage. While some have proven their mettle, others continue to spark debates about merit and opportunity. Here’s a look at the top five nepo babies currently shaping the Bollywood landscape.

1. Janhvi Kapoor

Kapoor had her first on-screen appearance in Dhadak, which was released in 2018. Since then, Janhvi has been earning her place as one of the hardest-working star kids of this generation after starring in films such as Gunjan Saxena and Bawaal. She is the daughter of the late Sridevi and the producer Boney Kapoor, which brings her to the center of one of the greatest family dramas in B-Town.

2. Sara Ali Khan

Kedarnath marked the entry of Sara Ali Khan into Bollywood and has since been an actress to watch out for with her various notable performances. Her lineage stems from one of the most famed couples in Indian Cinema – Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Sara has a great combination of Simmba and Atrangi Re alongside a refreshing screen presence that appeals to the youthful demographic.

3. Aryan Khan

The son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan is stepping into the industry in 2025 but as a director with his series Stardom.
