Chandan Arora has done well directing the show. Though it was a remake of the acclaimed Israeli show Magpie. The plot is very convoluted, disturbing yet very very entertaining, and portrays a sort of character that exists in our society but is never given much thought about. 

The Characters

Roshan Mathew is treated with the eyes. His depiction of Ashu, his madness for Max and the subsequent heartbreak are just out of this world. His face and eyes are enough to depict such a complex character.

It shows a girl who, after so much ordeal and is believed to be dead, comes alive suddenly to thrash someone who is attacking her lover. The perfect title ‘Black white & gray – love kills’. Highly recommended to watch. A total of 6 episodes with an average of 30 to 40 minutes each. Available in all South Indian languages, including Hindi.

It is portrayed realistically, with Mayur More, Palak Jaiswal, and Deven Bhojani delivering compelling performances.

It is made worse by the fact that guru-daddy is ‘played’ by Suvinder Vicky, whose superb work in Kohrra this year is almost undone by this horrible metaphor. 

The Best Part 

Champak has one of the best and underrated series.  A masterpiece by director Rohit Jugral. Pramveer, Vicky and all the actors are incredible in all their songs. The script of Chamak has given birth to a new concept of ‘musical thriller’, every scene is carefully crafted, and the artists have played their roles to perfection.

The Characters 

Kaala, Jazz, Guru, Pratap Deol, and Rocky Aunty, with strong performances from the cast, Paramvir played a ruthless character. And Isha Talwar portrays a strong character while adding to her charm.

The lead cast has a major impact, mainly Ayesha Kaduskar as Surbhi, the chemistry between the lead actors and the selection of the entire supporting cast. The casting team deserves major applause; you will fall in love with each one of them.

The show’s unexpected title spells out that they don’t want to reveal the supposedly untold truth behind a well-documented event, as well as mark its importance in the freedom struggle. Writers Madhvani, Shantanu Srivastava and Shatrujeet Nath don’t trust viewers to believe that the Jallianwala episode was important in itself. 

The Characters 

Taaruk Raina, Nikita Dutta, Sahil Mehta, Bhawsheel Singh Sahni, Paul McEwan, Alex Reece. Performances of all these cast are perfectly matched with their roles, and some of them have a great impact on the entire story, which makes you believe that it was real.
