There are many messages in these films, one being how people deal with loss & how we cope. These movies definitely leave you with a powerful message that doesn’t go away.
Once you watch it, you want to watch it over and over once you see the ending. Their acting is phenomenal, and we recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers and movies that will leave you wondering about them for the next week.
The Sixth Sense [1999]

The Storyline – The film follows child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe, played by Bruce Willis, as he attempts to help a young boy named Cole, portrayed by Haley Joel Osment, who can see and communicate with the dead. The way Shyamalan subtly plants clues throughout the film is insane.
The Characters – Bruce Willis plays the character gracefully and really sells his fear of daffodils convincingly to the audience. Haley Joel Osment was outstanding, especially for someone at such a young age, his acting is flawless.
The Best Part – The Sixth Sense isn’t just one of the greatest ghost movies of all time, but it is also the most impactful film in history. The movie starts with a horror tone but comes out as a movie that is based on feelings and emotions. We like the bonding between that kid and Bruce Willis. The movie’s cinematography and screenplay are really fabulous and make the movie even better.
IMDb Rating – 8.2/10

Fight Club [1999]

The Storyline – The movie is about a psychotic insomniac who has no peace in his life and is looking for his sleep while crying himself out. One day, on his flight, he met Tyler Dursun, a soap salesman who lives his life to the fullest. The next day, the protagonist finds his apartment in a blown-up condition and happens to call Tyler for a stay for few days.
The Characters – It has a razor-sharp screenplay by Jim Uhls and career-defining performances by Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter.
The Best Part – Fight Club remains David Fincher’s finest work in his impressive filmography, as he’s able to adapt certain aspects of the novel while keeping the themes intact, while showcasing the effects of toxic masculinity and consumerism in our society.
The script writing, even though it is not exactly parallel to the novel, still conveys the same writing style that Chuck wrote in, that being a very poetic and peculiarly descriptive way.
IMDb Rating – 8.8/10
The Usual Suspects [1995]

The Storyline – The mind-blowing screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie & impeccable direction by Bryan singer. Just imagine one of the suspects of a big robbery, who is having a pitiful, limping look totally way beyond a hardcore criminal description, is off to canvas, totally an imaginable false story in front of the investigation team, and the team is clueless by it, no one ever doubted it.
The Characters – Standout performances from Kevin Spacey, Best Supporting Actor, Gabriel Byrne, Benicio del Toro, and Chaz Palminteri.
The Best Part – This is one of them films that, after seeing it the first time, you could go back in time and see it again without knowing the ending. The script was misleading, making you doubt everyone, and Kevin gave that spacey touch. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.” Five criminals are pulled in for a bogus police line-up, only for them to be set up to do a job by the feared & infamous geyser size, they hatch their own plan.
