Following the exciting releases, we enjoyed our own movie schedule with all of the upcoming horror movies and the many upcoming sci-fi movies. This year is going to be even bigger, and we will get a lot of content to watch. Here are some of the upcoming movies,
Fear Street: Prom Queen [Genre- Horror]
Throughout the novel, Stine masterfully interweaves teenage drama with suspense. and a constant sense that danger is lurking around every corner. The high stakes of prom season combined with the terror of a mysterious killer make for a thrilling ride.The small-town setting of Shadyside adds to the eerie atmosphere, with its gossip-filled high school halls, lingering shadows.
The story
It centers around Lizzie McVay, a high school junior who is over the moon when she is nominated for prom queen. But their joy quickly turns into fear when Elana vanishes under mysterious circumstances, leaving her friends rattled and confused, alongside her closest friend , Rachel, Simone, Dawn, and Elana. For Lizzie and her group, being in the running for prom queen is a dream come true, and the excitement of the nomination creates a buzz throughout Shadyside High.
Is It worth watching?
While it may not be groundbreaking, it’s undeniably fun and perfect for fans of high-stakes mysteries. Stine knows exactly how to keep readers engaged, and this entry in the Fear Street series is a testament to his talent for crafting compelling teen horror. The Prom Queen is a nostalgic, fast-paced thriller that delivers plenty of twists, chills, and ‘90s charm. Release Date – 23 May 2025.
Nonnas [Genre- Comedy]
The Price of Nonna’s Inheritance reunites the unorthodox but united Delle Fave clan. Directed by Giovanni Bognetti. This comedy sequel centers on grandmother Giuliana’s engagement to her dubious ex, Nunzio. Worried for her mother’s safety and inheritance, Anna calls on her husband Carlo and their adult children.
The characters
Alessandra and Emilio, to intervene. Christian De Sica and Angela Finocchiaro reprise their roles as the long-married but mismatched parents, joined this time by Dharma Mangia Woods, Claudio Colica, and Fioretta Mari.
Is It Your Cup of Tea?
Whether thwarting wedding plans or each other, the Delle Faves prove that what matters is having one another’s backs through every comedic calamity. Throughout their ill-advised scheme, bonds are strengthened through shared laughter and frustration. While this dysfunctional Italian family’s tactics leave much to be desired, their devotion to one another remains the true heart of the film. Release Date- 9 May 2025.
