Technicals and Music

Director Ani I.V. Sasi and writer Vasanth Mariganti have done an excellent job in executing such a real and most unnoticed crisis. Burial grounds and graveyards are treated sacred and each community or religion takes them to their pride. These stereotypical mindsets still exist and Uppu Kappurambu film is giving an unique perspective into these sensitive elements.

Cinematography by Divakar Mani and Rakesh Cherumadam’s VfX looks very fresh and has an interesting angle to the trailer, raising expectations for the film. Music by Sweekar Agasthi and Rajesh Murugesan promise a sweet tribute to hometowns.  Both the actors Suhas and Keerthy Suresh are critically acclaimed actors. So definitely a must-watch film.

Fun and Beautiful Visuals

As Apporva alone is incapable of coming up with answers and in a hurry to stop the village fights. She takes smart Chinna’s help like a lottery for burial spots. Their funny adventures in the trailer are set against a beautiful backdrop of Twin godavari districts, luscious trees, fish canals, huts, and many patriarchal notions. You can watch this slapstick comedy in full volume with your family. They will surely connect to the Uppu Kappurambu theme and emotional ties surrounding burial spaces, relations, and rituals.
