Well, happy news to us, BTS “V” Kim Taehyung, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook have officially been discharged from Chuncheon and will soon release songs. Let’s see all the details of South Korea’s enlistment notion and BTS’s future projects.
End of the Military Era
There was a big debate in 2022 that BTS became a global band, and HYBE Productions is requesting an exemption for all seven members from South Korea’s mandatory military service, especially for men. This rule applies to Korean citizens, and in case of special requests like these are accepted at a very low rate. Well, they rejected the public appeal.
South Korea has a compulsory rule for males to serve in the delegated Army services between 18-28 years of age, else it’s considered an act of treason, disobedience against the government. They gave a 2-year extension till age 30 only for them to participate. As part of the agreement, each member has enlisted for a minimum of 18 months military.

Cameos and Connection
Well, four members of the BTS band have been discharged just like they joined within a day’s gap. On June 10, many fans visited the Chuncheon district to reunite and celebrate their service of V and leader RM. Today, vocal artists Jimin and Jongkook are welcomed with cheers for finishing the army. They went on livestream one by one, giving more details about their life in the army base, sufferings, achievements, and many more.
Fans are praising the singers for opening up about their mental health struggles, artist blocks, and their member Jin made a playful Cameo in their Weverse Live Stream.
