Zero Day grips you with a tension so real, it feels like you’re living inside the chaos. Every twist is crafted with surgical precision, and the writing doesn’t just hit its punches, leaving you reeling in the best way. Thrills that keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. With an incredible cast, sharp writing, and a gripping storyline, this miniseries delivers suspense, intrigue, and thought-provoking drama. The performances are outstanding, especially from my boy De Niro, who brings depth and intensity to the role. Every episode is packed with twists, making it impossible to stop watching.

The Storyline

An inside conspiracy led to efforts to fix the problems that plague society, causing 3,000 indirect deaths and directly assassinating others. And the commission against them, with unbridled powers wielded by an aging ex-politician with mental health issues.

Political extremism is so prevalent that it’s genuinely affecting politics and, in turn, society as a whole. It seems that nowadays, when you vote for a president, you’re picking just one or the other. Every step in their investigation somehow has a brick wall or an extreme solution to be taken next. The systematic murder of loose ends and refuseniks who declined to participate also seems pretty realistic.

It took effort and close attention to understand the whole “Who killed Bambi” thread, and the revelation wasn’t tied back to the story in a satisfying way.

The Cast

No words can describe Robert De Niro; his powerful performance in every scene is the glue holding up this entire series. All supporting actors, especially Angela Bassett, were perfect for their roles.

Should You Watch This?

Zero day should not be missed. Here he’s on the right side of the so-called long arm of the law, which, eventually behind the curtains, turns out to be unlawful. both in the real and the virtual world. His presence was so strong that all other actors’ thoughts would fade out.

Is Dhoom Dhaam Movie Worth Watching? Here’s Our Honest Review

There is no room for a sequel, which would have to delve into accountability for the politicians and bureaucrats who were responsible for the attacks. It’s absolutely fantastical that there would be any legal accountability in our real-world US justice system for these crimes. The ending hints that the parties in question will be held accountable. Holding right-wing terrorists accountable for their crimes isn’t a thing in the US anymore. Available on Netflix
