Vijay Antony is a leading musician, actor, sound engineer, and lyricist. He has dedicated himself to the Tamil film industry since 2005. Though he entered the industry as a music composer in 2005 for the film Sukran, he later expanded his career into acting with his debut in Naan (2012), which was both a critical and commercial success.

Agni To Vijay

After completing his education, Vijay worked as a sound engineer in a studio set up by him. His interest in music led him to compose the background score for many TV shows, advertisements, and jingles. Although Oscar Ravichandran, a renowned film distributor and producer, initially approached Vijay for his movie Dishyum, Vijay’s debut as a music composer came from the movie Sukran. Vijay entered the industry under the name Agni, but director S. A. Chandrasekhar later gave him the stage name Vijay.
