All About the Washingtons ist eine US-amerikanische Familien-Comedyserie und ein Netflix-Original. Er war lange Zeit im Showgeschäft unterwegs, nun zieht er sich daraus zurück und geht in den Hip-Hop-Ruhestand. Fortan versucht er, seine Karriere, die Liebe und das tägliche Drunter und Drüber in seiner Familie mit vier Kindern (Kiana Ledé, Nathan Anderson, Leah Rose Randall and Maceo Smedley) geregelt zu bekommen. Seine Frau geht derweil endlich ungestört ihrer Karriere nach, da sich ja nun ihr Mann um alles kümmert. Die Idee zu All About the Washingtons stammt von Jeremy Bronson. Produziert wurde die Serie von Amblin und ABC Studios für Netflix. Andrew Reich ist Showrunner der Serie und fungiert zusammen mit Jeremy Bronson, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Rev Run und Justine Simmons und Michael Lehman als Executive Producer. Wusstet ihr schon? Rev Run Simmons hatte bereits eine Reality-Serie namens Run’s House, die von 2005 bis 2009 in sechs Staffeln auf MTV lief. Dort spielte auch seine Familie mit.
