Nita Mukhesh Ambani Cultural Centre, popularly known as NMACC, located inside their mega shopping mall/working space Jio World Centre, in Mumbai city, is the epitome of modern vision blended with India’s best art. Built as one of the finest architectures, it shares a royal theatre at heart to spread India’s greatest cultural forms at its prime.
Initiation
Initiated in 2023, NMACC has actively been a place that encouraged more than 1200 artists, actors, dancers, musicians, and more to showcase their talent on a global level. It happened like the Met Gala theme, where local to international celebrities came dolled up and pure media marketing. This time, they are giving the banter to the audience.
Nita Ambani gave an open advertisement to promote the celebration and India’s first legacy pop-up in New York. With minimal, statement gold jewelry, she wore a Pattu red saree and gave an announcement welcoming everyone for an inquisitive experience.
One-of-a-Kind Cultural Showcase
NMACC is organizing its first-ever international arts and cultural showcase, venturing deep into Indian-rooted crafts of fashion, cuisine, artifacts, music, and many more. It’s happening on September 12,13, and 14, a three-day event at the central performance landmark of New York, Lincoln Centre.
On the 12th, the first day, we have “The Great Indian Musical Civilization to Nation”, a whole day event, performed at the David H.Koch Theatre building. They have lined up supreme artists like Ajay-Atul, Mayuri Upadhya, Vaibhavi Merchant, and Arsh Tanna for a musical tribute to India’s civilization. This performance has more than 100 dancers up on stage with grand sets, waiting to entertain us.
It will be followed by Manish Malhotra’s couture with Renuka Pillai as makeup designer, Neil Patel for Scenic Design m and John Narun for Production design. Thus, the show is limited to five exclusive programs.
Second and Third Day
On September 13, the second day started in Damrosch Park exterior of Lincoln centre with a vibrant variety of food op ups led by Michelin Star chef Vikas Khanna. Followed by Bazaar, a shopping arena out of pure artistry & luxury from Indian locales of textiles, interiors, and fashion, you can directly shop here.
Next we have legends Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Shaimak Davar, along with a series of classical instrument artists to give excellent Bollywood music and dance workshops. Thus, relax and enjoy the dignity of Indian artists. Further, they offer Yoga and Wellness workshops with deep meditation-focused and motivation experts from both spiritual and mental well-being, which is another highlight.

Family-friendly and Country Friendly
This three-day event in New York is beautifully conceptualized for families & audiences of all ages to enjoy the colorful display and chill atmosphere. Likewise, there is no subtle dress code determined. Visitors can wear whatever is comfortable & welcome humbly. Also, for foreigners, most of the events are language-friendly, & wheelchair accessibility is provided. So don’t hide away from the opportunity, but visit the showcase and enjoy.
