Many series and films showcase the alien invasion, but “The eternaut” adds a fresh dimension to the plot. The series dates back to 1968, when a production company wanted to do an animated series with the same name. However, the series was delayed due to internal problems and financial instability. And now, its entry onto the Netflix platform allows the series to reach a widespread audience.
The man behind the project is Bruno Stagnaro, the director of the series. He has been deeply involved in Argentina’s film industry over the years. His other notable works include Pizza, Beer and Cigarettes, and Okupas. However, while working on the script for The Eternaut, he was initially drawn to the original comic series by Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López. But eventually developed a new perspective, which culminated in a fresh adaptation of The Eternaut.
Snowfall
Set against the backdrop of Buenos Aires, a snowfall leads to commotion in town, killing thousands of people. Only a few have survived, and now the question arises of survival of the fittest. This mysterious incident strikes fear into people, forcing them to confront an unknown threat.
Aftermath
Since the death of many people led to the discovery of an alien invasion. Now, to survive, fighting against it is the only way to go.
Torn Apart World
All the actors have portrayed their characters exceptionally well. The series features a huge star cast, but the leading actors include Ricardo Darín, Carla Peterson, and César Troncoso. The director has captured the raw essence of the alien-inhabited place in the frame. This enhances the quality of the series.

The entire cast and crew have contributed to the development of the series. The background score subtly enhances the plot twists and perfectly complements each scene.

Compelling Plot
The Eternaut uncovers social commentary and connects emotionally with the audience.
